Since we began precious metal supplier business and opened our first store in a local region in 2009, we have expanded our business and opened 80 stores for 3 years. We are now targeting to open more than 200 stores in 2013, then expand our business in Asian nations within the next 2 years.
We are always focusing on the reinforcement of our business infrastructure to transcend Today’s BEATRICE. This means to develop organization, information, cash-flow, logistics, equipment and facilities.
Along with the business development, we also worked on the reinforcement of operation foundation by repeated investment on infrastructure and its innovations. We especially focused on training appraisers, key persons of our stores and updating a strategic POS system. All this enabled to achieve well-developed data accumulation and analysis, information sharing, precise and strategic store management, quick decision making and improved services to maintain active store development.
Our business grew not only because we reinforced business infrastructure. Main reasons of our growth are that we sought true needs from our customers, provide the best and quickest services, and made the customers and residents in local areas happy. All of them were the engine of our business growth. We will probably have more chances to start new businesses by leveraging our know-how and resources accumulated by our main business, precious metal supplier business. Regardless of the type of businesses, countries we deal with, our business concept to satisfy our customers’ needs and energize the businesses and people in each region never changes just because this is BEATRICE’s value.

We operate BEATRICE; the stores specialized in precious metal purchase all over Japan, and currently have 94 stores (as of Jan., 2013). We also developed our business footprints in East/South Asia such as China, Thai, Singapore and Indonesia by creating business models align with local demands.
Stores are promptly opened after detailed research by regional strategic team and utilizing accumulated data and unique store development know-how. There are almost 80 stores opened over the last 3 years from the start of the business.
Our BEATRICE has well-trained appraises and provides services of jewelry valuation and purchases. We especially put efforts in fostering appraisers by holding workshops to develop their expertise and behavioral manners and having supervisors from our headquarters to train them. Our training system is always updated and improved so that we maintain favorable customer services and accurate and precise appraisal.
Our stores are also a place where our local customers gather.
We care interactions with our customers through our services and provide them the best hospitality, making them feel comfortable as if they are in their home.
Store staff is sometimes their chat friend and mentor so you can often see that customers enjoy talking with our staff members.

PURU VERANO is our nail salon that uses the various jewels from BEATRICE. This allows us to use many different real jewels such as ruby, emerald, and pearls and makes a lot of our customers satisfied. PURU VERANO not only satisfy female customers’ sensitive demands on fashion but also make efforts to improve staff’s service skills and expertise as well as creating comfortable salons just like we do for BEATRICE.
Maximize the use of strategic database.
Public Co., Ltd. is one of BEATRICE groups companies, which specializes in advertising. It mainly provides advertising support with our local database accumulated by precious metal supplier business.
We suggest strategic advertising plans by analyzing the data of BEATRICE and the statistics related to locals including population, number of households, subscribed newspaper, geographic size, date, day, age group, income level, savings, and family members. We support your direct marketing by flyers, posting and DM. Our advertising support promises good cost performance by taking advantage of scientific structures based on local data and social anthropology.
BEATRICE’s main business is precious metal supplier which has just entered into market. However, from our customers’ point of view, our service is to help them convert their precious metals into money. When you made mistakes and bothered people around you, only saying “sorry” does not resolve everything even though your sincere attitude is appreciated. Next word you need to say should be productive which explains how to address the problem, the cause of it and prevention measures for next time.
Numbers such as sales result are important. But it is just an index. Don’t be so emotional by the fluctuation of numbers, but consider how your behavior gave the impact to the numbers. If the numbers went down, it is important for you to think how you should see and behave from its result. Number is a result. The key is your behavior and thoughts to generate the result.
It can be very rude towards your work and customers to hesitate to ask something you need to learn. Doing your job without enough understanding its role can be irresponsible manner because you are looking down your customers with inappropriate attitude. Please do ask anything you don’t know to find solutions even though you might feel it embarrassing due to the pride. Nobody looks down even if you ask something.

“What if I do this?”, “Isn’t this something we need to worry though you say it’s all right”. Just like this, please always imagine and take actions based on thinking what your customers, supervisors and coworkers seek.
